“I think we spend too much time wondering why we’re not good enough. We spend too much time over-analyzing, over-thinking, and overreacting. We waste too much time putting ourselves down, so much that we don’t ever stop to see that well, we are good enough. You are good enough. We spend too much time with our heads down and hearts closed; and never get a chance to look up from the ground and see that the sun is shining and tomorrow is another day.”

the demand for blood transfusions is growing faster than donations

I think it's fascinating to think about how someone you have no connection with is alive becasue they have your blood running through their veins.

 - Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood
 - One donation can help save the lives of up to 3 people
 - If you began donating blood at age 17 and donated every 56 days until you reached 76, you would have donated 48 gallons of blood, potentially helping save over 1,000 lives
 - Only 5 percent of eligible donors across the nation donate blood, but the number of transfusions nationwide increases by 9 percent every year
